If you are looking for our Privacy Policy then it’s over on the main JBVisions site. To be honest with you it goes on a bit but in these days of “if it moves, sue it” it has to be done. There you will also find our full Accessibility statement.

Accessibility
I’ve tried hard to make this site as accessible as possible regardless of the technology you are using. You should find everything just works. If you come up against any problems please let me know.
- This site uses WordPress and a template by Mike Cherim that I’ve hacked about. The pages should validate XHTML and CSS and if they don’t then it’s down to me having an off moment and I’d be really grateful if you let me know so I can fix it.
- All images should have an Alt attribute describing them unless they are purely decorative in which case screen reader users should hear nothing.
- Text is resizable in your browser so if you’ve got really rotten eyesight, like mine is these days, then you can make it larger. If you don’t know how to do this then there are full instructions here. Word of warning though. If you share the machine with somebody else, make sure you put it back to normal when you’ve finished or you’ll scare the bejazus out of them next time they go online.
- For those using keyboards instead of mice, there are some really nifty hidden jump links to assist you. When you go onto a page, hit the tab key and the links will appear in the top left hand corner. How cool is that!
- If you use the sidebar links on this site they will open in the same window but be aware you may be redirected to another site and it may not have the same standards applied to it.
Email and Privacy
- I hate spam with a vengeance and do everything I can to stop it. The contact form on this site and the main site are about as secure as you’re going to get. You shouldn’t get any nasties if you use them.
- Rest assured your email address is well hidden. If you put it in one of the comments or the contact form, the only person who will see it is me and I will only use it as a last resort, unless you give me permission to do otherwise. If at any time you want your email address removed from the database, just shout.
- I don’t send out newsletters or forward on the piles of hysterically funny? emails I get sent to me on a daily basis. I find maybe 1 in 100 makes me chuckle, the rest I’ve seen before. Many times.
- The only information we keep about you is anything you type into the comments, plus your IP address. The only time your IP address gets used for anything is if you’re a stinky rotten spammer when we, that’s me and “Da Management”, use it to track you down and report you. If you’re not a spammer then to be honest, I have better things to do with my time than ponder IP addresses.
Etiquette
A blog is a place for free speech. You may not always agree with the posts or comments and that’s fine but if you reply then please keep it civil. Outright rudeness, personal attacks, racism, sexism or any other objectionable material will be edited or removed and you may be banned. If anything on this blog is upsetting to you please contact me.
