Painfully Funny
There are thousands of blogs around and many are exceedingly banal. People set them up purely because they think they ought to and I’ve lost track of the “what should I make my blog about?” posts on Bulletin Boards. My answer is usually along the lines of - don’t bother until you have something to say, but occasionally one surfaces with a really interesting idea.
I came across one today that I should really call unusual rather than good. No, actually, it’s appallingly good in an atrociously bad kind of way.

Narcissus and his part in my family

IE8 and the vaunted Acid2 pass
I made a tongue in cheek comment about it at the time on a blog where people were saying how great it would be only having to design for one browser, no more hacks.
My comment was along the lines of, don’t get too excited, you might end up designing for IE6, IE7, IE8 Standards Mode, IE8 Quirks mode…..
