Decorating your site the W3C way
Yes, it’s the newest thing in web design. All you have to do is nip over to the W3C site and find the page with all the W3C Valid badges.
Don’t worry about the License agreement and terms of use:……. Just grab a few and then liberally slap them over your page. If your site happens to have the same colour scheme then so much the better but even if it doesn’t, a few strategically placed icons can make all the difference.

Modern Web Design
Every now and then I come across something on the web that I find truly funny.
This one made me laugh out loud. Whoever did it is definitely a developer who has struggled with accessible, semantic, valid sites and the hassles of Internet Explorer. Mystery artist, I feel your pain.

Foxy Goodness
I’m a Firefox fan. I hate Internet Explorer and take every opportunity to get people to switch.
Why? Well apart from the accessibilty issues, and the standards issues, and the security issues, and the lack of update issues with IE, I just lurve the Firefox logo. It’s one of the first things that springs to mind when people say the words “Web 2″.

IE8 and the vaunted Acid2 pass
I made a tongue in cheek comment about it at the time on a blog where people were saying how great it would be only having to design for one browser, no more hacks.
My comment was along the lines of, don’t get too excited, you might end up designing for IE6, IE7, IE8 Standards Mode, IE8 Quirks mode…..
