Foxy Goodness

I’m a Firefox fan. I hate Internet Explorer and take every opportunity to get people to switch.

Why? Well apart from the accessibilty issues, and the standards issues, and the security issues, and the lack of update issues with IE, I just lurve the Firefox logo. It’s one of the first things that springs to mind when people say the words “Web 2″.

Containing 75 Best Practices for Design of Websites and Intranets, Based on Usability Studies with People Who Use Assistive Technology, it’ll give you something to do over the holidays.

More free stuff!

Giveaway of the Day Not the prettiest of banners you’ll agree but my mate the Green Beastie will be delighted to know that for once it’s a valid XHTML link. Yes, somebody is taking notice Mike.

This site gives away a full blown piece of software every day. You are unlikely to want everything but there are some very nice bits of kit available on occasion. Catch?

Freebies

Free iconsYou know how you sometimes need a few icons to stick on your site or your blog, and you go googling for freebies and get 96 million sites coming back usually with appalling quality stuff that you wouldn’t be seen dead associating with?

Well I went on a hunt for some top quality images that I could use on client sites and having picked myself up off the floor at the prices and deciding I should have paid more attention in Graphic Design classes, I started to trawl the freebies again to see if there was anything remotely usable that I could possibly tart up a bit.
