Spam or not spam? Oooh tough call.
In amongst today’s crop of spam trying to get me to part with my money by fair means or foul, I found the following examples. I despair, I really do……
Example 1.
Subject: Notification of Limited Account Access
Sender: Paypal
Dear Costumer Paypal,
So Paypal are now in the clothing business are they?
Example 2.
Subject: I NEED YOUR ASSISTANCE
Sender: Sgt Joe Wilson
Good day,
I know that you can help us in this transaction to make the great opportunity to come to light for us and yourself. Please help us. We have be here without see our family and we don’t no our faith how it will be tomorrow, so we hope in God and your assistance in this great opportunity.
He then goes on to say that he’s an American soldier serving in the military of the 1st Armored Division in Iraq. Really. You’d think his English might be a little better.
Example 3.
Subject: Important Security Notice
Sender: Regions Bank
Dear business client of Regions Bank:
The Regions Customer Service requests you to complete the Regions InterAct Confirmation Form.
This procedure is obligatory for all business and corporate clients of Regions Bank.
